Mike Pope is the owner/operator of Colorado Shooting & Tactical and its lead instructor. Mike was a federal law enforcement firearms and tactics instructor for over 25 years. He is also a certified NRA instructor. In his career, Mike has trained many hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officers in tactics, handgun, M-4 rifle and tactical shotgun shooting. He has also taught tactics to US military units and has taught firearms at the DEA Academy at Quantico, Virginia.

Mike’s friendly down to earth approach to firearms training puts students at all levels at ease, providing a non-intimidating atmosphere conducive to learning. Mike is committed to world class firearms instruction and works with each student individually.
